User-related data analytics tool proposal for HydraDX 📊📈

Interesting post, I have some questions:

  1. Do you expect the DAO to pay for this service?
  2. Do you have renderings or a roadmap to show final product state? Currently, this looks and feels very basic and unprofessional, is there a vision for how this will look/feel
  3. You note that inspiration was taken from Dune. Do you offer functionality, like Dune, to allow me to create my own reports or dashboards?
  4. What differentiates what you all have built here from Grafana which is already a place to go see similar statistics?

hey, i join the questions above

It is not clear what the objective of this post is, could you reaffirm it please?

in the case of deploying the on-chain data analytics tool for HydraDX

What items and how are you going to corroborate said information?

TVL, total volume, volume by assets ? The Omnipool page already provides it

Volume of transfers in hdx is already provided by subscan what makes it a better platform than the ones already mentioned

We charge a one-time implementation fee, which covers all our infrastructure costs, including indexing and storing data, updating indexer, dashboard development as well as custom metrics implementation for the community. One-time implementation fee depends on the amount of data on a specific network.

After dashboard implementation process is finished, we have three different options to choose for DAO community:

Public with read-only access to view dashboard/metrics (free of charge)
Community with access to our platform by login to unlimited number of users, eligibility to create custom charts and exporting data reports into CSV/PDF files (free of charge)
Professional with alerting & monitoring feature enabled, delivering chart data as webhooks and data analyst consultations

Please find our roadmap for 2023

Q1 2023:
initial app release
settlement of core partnerships among Substrate community (Subsquid, DOT Validators Alliance, Zeitgeist, Aleph Zero, Reef etc)
onboarding 10 chains to the platform with basic on chain metrics
creating community dashboards from existing charts

Q2 2023:
expanding partnerships among Substrate community focusing around biggest players
staking analytics
L2 token analytics metrics
creating community charts and dashboards from data models
onboarding 10 chains to the platform (totalling 20 supported chains)
monitoring and alerting subscriptions

Q3 2023:
fine-tuning offered data models for flawless cross-platform comparisons of key metrics
introduction of source-segment-conversion user-friendly metrics builder

Q4 2023:
self-onboarding of new substrate chains
expanding beyond Substrate ecosystem (target platform TBD)

When it comes to comparison with Dune - you will be able to create your own dashboards and metrics. Initially you will be eligible to construct your dashboard from existing metrics inside our chart wardrobe, in Q2 we'll expand it to creating your own charts and adding them to personal dashboards. We focus on accessibility for everyone, not just tech savvy geeks.

Do you have any public Grafana dashboard to show us what you’ve built so far with them so I could take a look and give you some more clarity on what we could deliver to the HydraDX community as added value?

@Jose Crypto

We can give you much more insights related to users activities on-chain, wallet transactions tracking, sources of staking users (CEXs/DEXs), users conversions, tracking inflow/outflow of users comparing to Omnipool. For example, our tool would help your team to better target users by airdrops, increase user base and increase token price.

Subscan is just a basic analytics tool not showing users related insights.

Thank you for answering my questions. At this time, I do not feel paying to implement these services would solve for issues that the omnipool may be having.

i would be more interested in your project once it is more defined and has a more robust feel. Good luck!
