The council has been approached with this motion proposal by Monin Staking to get their Collator replaced.
Monin Staking is ceasing operations toward the end of the year.
The existing collators and validators will be taken over and maintained by Schmiatz, a german DotSama community member and veteran systems engineer with 10+ years of experience in maintaining complex infrastructure and 3+ years experience operating blockchain nodes for various networks in the web3 space.
The collator address will be replaced to enable clear accounting during the transition period.
